Look for the
following books in the school library or in the local library:

by Ruth Craft and Nicola Smee
- Grandmother's
Donkey, by Joan Smith
- Granny's
Teeth, by Brianog Brady Dawson
- Granny,
by Anthony Horowitz
Read one of the
books and then do a book review, using the word processor on your computer
if possible. To help you do the review, answer these questions about the
book:
- Who are the main
characters in the book? Write three words to describe each of the main
characters in the book.
- Who was your
favourite character? Why?
- Tell about the
most important thing that each of the main characters did. Do you think
that a person in real life would do something like this?
- Was there a
relationship between a younger and older person? Describe how these two
people got on with each other.
- Did you like the
ending? Why?
- Do you know
anyone who is like any of the characters in the book?
- Did you learn
anything from reading the book?
- What marks out of
10 would you give the book?
- Who would you
recommend it for?
Read your review to
the class.
