Organise a class survey of films, looking at the older characters in the films. Working in groups, make notes about films that you have seen.

Are there older characters in the film? Are the older characters the heroes, the villains, or minor characters? Are the older characters independent or needing help? Are the older characters like real life?

Create a table (using the computer, if possible) similar to the one below and write down the information on the films your group has seen. Using the computer if possible, make a chart for the classroom wall.
