Mental Disorders in Older Irish People: Incidence, Prevalence and Treatment

This report gathers all available information on mental disorders in older Irish people. It outlines the number of older people who develop mental disorders each year (incidence) and the number who suffer from these disorders at any one time (prevalence). The report also examines the treatment of older people with mental disorders and analyses treatment settings. Topics covered include depression, dementia, schizophrenia, neuroses, personality disorders, alcohol and drug dependency, mental handicap and suicide.
