This report, which is the first comprehensive national study of home help services for older people in Ireland, describes how home help services are administered in the Republic of Ireland and compares them to similar services in Northern Ireland, Britain and Sweden. The report also includes the results of a survey of home help clients and an overview of the perceptions of Home Help Organisers and Home Helps.
